  • Guided e-bike rides and hikes around Ojai: Mountains-to-Beach, Sulphur Mountain, Ride the Vortex (full + mini), Ventura River Preserve, and “Topa to Town.”

  • Most tours are beginner–intermediate friendly and run at a conversational pace. Sulphur and Nordhoff are more challenging. If you’re unsure, ask—we’ll steer you to the right fit.

  • Kona SUV-style pedal assist e-bikes, Class-1 (assist up to ~20 mph). Smooth, stable, and great on paved paths and light gravel.

  • Best fit is roughly 4-11”–6’6” (155–196 cm). Rider weight up to ~300 lbs. Reach out if you’re close to the edges so we can prep the right setup.

  • Yes—  You can bring your own bike.

  • Yes—helmets are required on all bike tours. We provide them. You are welcome to bring your own. If you are bringing your own bike it is a good idea to bring your own helmet.

  • Professional local guide, safety briefing, helmets (bike tours), basic snacks + water refill stops, and route support. Some tours include yoga, tastings, or lunch—see each tour page.

  • Closed-toe shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, a light layer. Hikes: trail shoes; Bikes: comfortable clothing. Optional: small daypack, ID for post-tour brewery stop.

  • Meeting points vary by tour. Some of the tours will start where you are staying.  (Ojai trailheads, downtown, or bike path access). Your confirmation email includes the exact pin and parking notes.

  • Yes—on Mountains-to-Beach you can ride one-way to Ventura and add a shuttle back to Ojai (extra fee), or ride round-trip.

  • Private and corporate groups up to ~26 riders with multiple guides.

  • Hikes: generally 8+ depending on route. E-bikes: There is no age limits just a height limit of about 4’-11’’.  No child seats on e-bikes at this time.

  • Absolutely. We match pace to the group and build in scenic stops. If you’re brand-new to cycling, consider Mini Vortex or Mountains-to-Beach.

  • Many add-ons (yoga/picnic/tacos) have options—tell us at booking and we’ll advise or customize when possible.

  • Luckily the weather is almost always good in Ojai. We roll in light coastal mist, but heavy rain, high winds, extreme heat, or poor air quality (AQI threshold ≈ 150). If we cancel for safety, you can reschedule or receive a refund.

  • Standard: 48+ hours notice → full refund; under 48 hours → credit/reschedule when possible. Private groups may have different terms—see your confirmation.

  • Yes—each participant signs a digital liability waiver before the tour.

  • Gratuity isn’t required but always appreciated for great guiding. You can tip in cash or via our cashless option.

  • Yes—birthdays, team events, training rides, yoga-in-the-grove, tastings… Tell us your vibe and we’ll build it.

  • No pets on group tours. Private hikes may allow well-behaved leashed dogs on select trails—ask first.

  • Text/call the number in your confirmation. We’ll try to accommodate when possible. 

  • We do provide water. 

  • Yes at most starts; limited on trail. We plan stops accordingly.

  • Mountains-to-Beach = mostly paved path. Vortex rides = paved + light gravel. Sulphur Mountain = car-free gravel road. Hikes vary from smooth trail to rocky/steep.

  • Guides can grab candid shots when safe. Ask about our add-on for a curated photo set.
